Weather in the Sahara is unpredictable and sand storms happen from time to time. Our tents are built to sustain heavy winds. We have great relationship with few hotels in the Merzouga area so in the worst-case scenario we can substitute your night to one of the hotels.

But mainly there are areas and activities set up that you can enjoy. You can do camel rides, sand board the desert dune right by the camp, guided walking tours, visit Nomads, play handballs, table games. If you are adventurous enough try the sand hammam - dig yourself completely in the sand. There are many areas spread around both camps where one can relax and get absorb by the desert landscape. Stay is all-inclusive so iced cold non-alcoholic beverages are included, all meals and many of the activities too.

This depends on the year of time you come.

Winter months – very-nice pleasant, warm and sunny days. Though the nights and early mornings are cold. Be prepared for cold temperatures. We provide electrical or gas heaters at the tents, water bottles for beds and/or electrical heating blankets for beds.

Spring months – Longer days and getting warmer during the day. Nights are much more comfortable and generally in end of March to April no heating in tents is required anymore. It is pleasant. Though sandstorms can appear during this time of the year and May to June is starting to get really hot.

Fall months – Warm dates and nights. Sunny blue sky, October to November is probably one of the best months.

We don’t have WIFI or Internet. Most people come to the desert to get away from it all. Here instead of phones, tables and computers we offer stunning desert landscapes, peaceful desert walks, starry night sky and friendship bonds with Berber guides and other guests. However, if WIFI is a must to your stay we will work to make special arrangements.

If we want to book a package desert tour is their ideal amount of days?

The more days you have for your luxury desert tour the better it is. The minimum we would recommend is 3 days but having 4 or 5 days is much better to fully appreciate the desert tour in Morocco.

How well your are located?

Location is one of the biggest key regarding choosing your desert camp. Merzouga and the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi are extremely crowded with too many camps. It is unfortunately not regulated. Our location is the best in entire Merzouga area. Location of Desert Luxury Camp is the biggest luxury. We are set deep inside the desert with no any camp in close proximity. Our clients can set for walk for miles before they encounter any other camp.
